Are you looking for something fun and cheap to do on the weekends—or Thursdays and Fridays for that matter?

If the answer is yes and you aren’t afraid of heights, I have the answer: a free balloon ride at the Orange County Great Park. The balloon can go up to 500 feet and provides views of much of Orange County. The hours are 10:00 am - 3:00 pm on Thursdays and Fridays, and 9:00 am - 3:00 pm on Saturdays and Sundays, weather permitting. The rides are currently free.

It is located in Irvine area.
Make sure you call them before you go, as they may close due to the wind condition. Also, the last ride is 2:30pm. :default1:
